About Shafer Photography

My name is Sebastian Shafer, I am 17 years old and I am a photographer out of the Cleveland, Ohio area. I am a man of many hobbies, including but not limited to: Guitar playing, Skiing, Traveling, Number Crunching, and more. I am a certified Ski Technician and an ASE Certified Mechanic. I love big cities and things that go fast.
As for my photography, I am no artist. I will never claim to be, nor will I play one on TV. I just love the challenge of getting better results every day. I see photography as an opportunity to cease the moment and freeze time for that 1/500th of a second. Photography is capturing history. I'd consider myself a historian before I consider myself an artist. I specialize in Sports Photography because I am an athlete and I connect best with sports. I am fully self taught and pride myself on the fact I went from my Dad's old D3200 with a kit lens to owning Nikon's flagship crop sensor DSLR and teaching myself every step in between. I've come a long way, and I still have plenty to learn. I was introduced to photography on a summer night in June of 2022. I never looked back. I have an undying desire to conquer the unknown, and there is not a point where you can learn no more about photography. I still have my whole life ahead of me, and photography will be there with me every step of the way.
